Talk about a small business that really cares. We recently bought a new house and Scott and his team came out to do some masonry work and clean the chimneys. Turns out we had a major exhaust issue with our fireplace and furnace setup. With thanksgiving coming up in 4 short days, Scott promised we would have functioning heat before then. And Chimney Chap delivered! Not only did they fix the chimney and heat exhaust, but with Scott’s advice we put a wood stove insert into the fireplace rather than keep it open and the whole house is now heated by wood and oil is a backup 🙂 thank you Chimney Chap for saving thanksgiving and giving honest and fair service with professional quality at a reasonable price. We had our two gas log fireplaces serviced recently. The Chimney Chap technician arrived prompttly and did a great job. He was friendly and very neat, leaving everything clean. A good business to deal with and I will continue to use them for our annual service needs.

What an amazing showroom, their stoves and fireplaces are what every home needs. We searched everywhere for an electric stove and Chimney Chap had the best option. We also saw some gas inserts that we will be exploring in the near future, just so impressive designs and it will be a great upgrade for our home. A definite location to checkout for all your gas or wood burning needs. Chris did an excellent job answering our questions and we had a no pressure product discussion, very well done and much appreciated.

The guys at South Shore Fireplace just made my ‘Summer Island’ shed into a legit place to hang!! See pics! What used to be just for extra storage is now a living space that I sincerely look forward to using as a 3-season room. With Casey and Paul’s initial review and very detailed installation plan - they then carried through by providing 2 quality techs (Cam & Mark) - who executed flawless work such that our town inspector said so! We walked in with 'wood stoves 101' questions and Casey very patiently and knowledgeably explained pros and cons through to very detailed installation and operation specifics. A great example of how retail should be.

This is my second fireplace from Chimney Chap. The first one we purchased was a gas direct vent unit and almost 20 years later still works like the day we bought it. I just had a vent free gas fireplace installed into a different room. Casey and Paul were beyond great to work with!! They made sure I picked the right unit for my space and took the extra time to make sure I was happy. I had called many times and dealt mainly with Casey for the actual selection process and he was so kind, and never made me feel like I was bothering him. During the install (which is not an easy thing to coordinate with a plumber, at least in my situation) Paul who not only suggested ventless, (which I didn’t even know existed) was here for the install with Cameron and to say patient would be an understatement . They had to come twice due to the plumber leaving for an emergency call. They waited and waited to make sure everything went according to plan. I appreciate them so much! Such a great team, I’d never go anywhere else! Big thank you to Casey, Paul and Cameron…I truly can’t thank you enough!!!
